Initial results of studying the de Sitter space dual to the Monster CFT are
announced. It is reported that the boson of the underlying scalar field in the
ground state of the untwisted sector is precisely as heavy as the Higgs boson
and the vacuum energy of the twisted sector coincides with the Cosmological
constant. Further, the Planck mass and the GUT scale are calculated almost
exactly, all in a simple framework of the finite fields. In light of these and
other observations, it is proposed that the origin of mass is very likely the
sporadic groups and the fabric of spacetime is most probably the Leech lattice.
The proposed model predicts a globally flat and locally 3D de Sitter space
(globally 3D and locally 4D spacetime) as well as two origins of mass, one for
the Higgs boson and one for the neutrinos.
